The renowned Commander’s Palace restaurant,open since 1880, is where top chefs Paul Prudhomme, Emeril Lagasse and the rising star Tory McPhail launched their careers.
Commander’s Palace is led by New Orleans born and raised co-owners and cousins Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan and Executive Chef Tory McPhail.
Commander’s Palace has amassed numerous awards, among them the James Beard Foundation Best Chef (Tory McPhail), Lifetime Outstanding Restaurant Award and Lifetime Service Award.The Commander’s Family of Restaurants was inducted into the Culinary Institute of America’s Hall of Fame in March 2008, one of only three families to ever win the CIA’s leadership award.
