BC 70 Skis

A new version of the BC 70 ski is available this season, meant for off-trail exploring and light on-trail use. The BC 70 touring platform has a full-length, metal-edge with a waxless Positrack base allowing for maximum grip and compromise between kick and glide in all snow conditions. The new, thinner core with suppler tip and tail is meant to both reduce weight and provide better flex and more user-friendly performance. In the Rossignol BC series, the numerical designation pretty much corresponds to the widest measurement of the ski. In the line, the other models include 65, 90, 110, and 125. The wider models will provide more float in backcountry conditions, but are recommended for higher skill levels. So, the BC 70 is slightly wider than the Touring series, allowing for some light-trail usage.
