Gear Spotlight: Scrubba Washbag
Posted on August 2, 2013 by

Xploritall attended the Outdoor Retailer Summer Show the past several days to check out outdoor, lifestyle, and travel products to be released in the upcoming Fall and Spring seasons. We'll be covering some of the more interesting things we saw at the show. Once we receive products to demo and get a chance to test them out, we'll be reviewing them as well.
An interesting new product at the show was the Scrubba Washbag. For those on long trips, it provides a portable way to wash your clothes in minutes. The basic form is that of a compression dry bag, with use-specific features added. Simply fill the bag with your dirty laundry and water, roll & clip the end to seal it, open the air valve and compress the air out, rub the bag to aggitate the clothes, rinse, then hang the wet clothes to dry. It folds down to stash away when done, and weighs in at 180 grams (6oz). And, it's fun to say (apologies to our Aussie friends for the rather tacky fake Australian accent when saying "Scrubba".)
