Gear Spotlight: Goal Zero Announces Solar Ready Program With Gregory Mountain Packs

Goal Zero, makers of portable solar power products, have begun working with other companies to integrate solar power into their products under their Solar Ready Partnership program. Goal Zero offers a selection of systems that you can piece together to power and recharge small devices all the way up to small appliances. You can pick and choose batteries, power packs and solar panels individually to meet your needs (which can be chained together for more complex systems), or select a kit with everything you need right out of the box.
By partnering with other companies, the Goal Zero products can accompany you on your adventures without worrying about how to mount or rig them to your gear.
The first company to release products born from this partnership is Gregory Mountain Packs. They have launched the Stout pack for men, and Amber pack for women. Each have daisy chain lash points on the lid and front of the pack to accept Goal Zero solar panels like the Nomad 7 (not included). The Stout pack comes in 35, 45 ($169), 65 ($199), and 75 ($299) liter capacities; Amber comes in 34 ($149) and 44 ($169) liter options. All are available now.
